Move Your Giving from Intention to Action

Whether you're looking for a place to start or want to put underutilized donor-advised fund dollars to work, Willowseed helps you build a giving practice around what matters most to you - at any giving level.

I know, because I made myself my first client.

Thoughtful Giving

is Hard

WHY?

  • too many worthy causes

  • too many requests

  • too hard to feel confident about what's "worthy"

  • too hard to create a perfect plan

  • too busy to think about now

WHAT IF WE UNDERSTOOD:

  • you don’t need a perfect plan

  • you don’t have to stay where you are

  • thoughtful giving develops over time

  • giving evolves, just like you

  • practice may not make perfect, but it can create connection, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose

Empty white space

So, many of us get stuck waiting for the perfect moment to take the next step.

But Perfection

Isn’t the Point of Giving

How I Help

Whether you’re looking for a place to start or exploring what’s possible with a donor-advised fund, we’ll work together to clarify your values, priorities, and next steps.

Together, we might discuss:

  • giving strategy & priorities

  • charitable tools and strategies

  • donor-advised funds

  • collaborative giving

  • forgivable loans & recoverable grants

  • traditional grantmaking

My Story

I didn’t set out to become a giving coach. I was looking for my own path to positive impact.

After years of working with Bay Area entrepreneurs and small businesses, I became increasingly interested in how people use their resources to create the communities they want to live in.

As my own giving evolved, I realized I had many of the same questions that others were asking: What matters most to me? How much should I give? Which tools are available? Where do I start?

That journey led me to formal study, volunteer leadership, collaborative giving initiatives, and deep exploration of donor-advised funds and other charitable tools.

Most importantly, it taught me that thoughtful giving develops over time—and that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.

Today, I help others build a giving practice from wherever they are starting.
